Marco
Marco Grabowski studied Physics at Bielefeld University. Alongside his enthusiasm for the natural sciences, he pursued another passion early on: parallel to working on his Master’s thesis, he successfully completed a three-year professional training as a tango instructor.
He then began his career in the development department at Beckhoff Automation, a globally successful automation company. For seven years, he worked interdisciplinarily at the intersection of physics, engineering, and software development. Despite having a secure, permanent position in the industry, he sought a new challenge and made the leap back into academia.
Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Robotics at CITEC (Bielefeld University). Shortly after starting his doctorate, he became a father and now successfully balances the demands of scientific research with family life. Remaining true to his early passion, he continues to teach tango classes today.
